The Dene development question

Masters thesis. Examines the cultural, historical, political and economic roots of the current development dilemma facing the native peoples of the NWT; analyzes the current socio-cultural, political and economic obstacles standing in the path of Dene local development; and proposes a combination of strategies that can be used to raise the critical awareness of local people in Dene settlements and for mobilizing Dene settlements for self-determined development.
