The magic mirror

This is the story of the Hummers, a Pennsylvania German family, at the turn of the 20th century. Emmanuel Hummer and wife only wish to provide for, love, and feed their beautiful daughter Mamie, their wayward son, Stanley, and another son, Jesse, an aspiring author.
