Arvingarna
Arvingarna is a Swedish dansband formed in Gothenburg in 1989. The group consists of Casper Janebrink (vocals and bass guitar), Lars Larsson (guitars, vocals and keyboards), Kim Carlsson (vocals and guitars) and Tommy Carlsson (drums and vocals). At Melodifestivalen 1993, they performed the song '"Eloise", which won, allowing Arvingarna to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest in Millstreet Co. Cork in May that year, where the song finished 7th.

Göteborgsvarvet () is an annual half marathon running competition in Gothenburg, Sweden (often called the Gothenburg Half Marathon in English).
It is the largest annual running competition in the world in terms of entries, with its 62,000 entries for the Göteborgsvarvet competition on 18 May 2013. In 2016, 64,500 people entered the race. The youngest runner was 17 years old and the oldest female runner 83 and male runner 87.

Skarsjövallen, because of sponsorship reasons formerly known as Markbygg Arena, HA Bygg Arena, Starke Arvid and Uddevalla Arena, is a football stadium in Ljungskile, Sweden. The stadium holds 6,000 people, but the capacity can quickly be expanded to 8,000, if needed. It is the home stadium of Ljungskile SK.

Lisebergshallen was a multi-purpose venue in Gothenburg, Sweden. It was located at the entrance of the amusement park Liseberg. It was built in 1980 and was used as entertainment centre for sports competitions, charity events and concerts. In 2019, it was demolished. Samskolan uses the venue regularly every year at Christmas for their annual "Folkdans".
