Gentius
Gentius (, Génthios; 181–168 BC) was an Illyrian king who belonged to the Labeatan dynasty. He ruled in 181–168 BC, being the last attested Illyrian king. He was the son of Pleuratus III, a king who kept positive relations with Rome. The capital city of the Illyrian kingdom under Gentius was Scodra, now Shkodër, Albania.
Boiorix
Boiorix or Boeorix was a king of the Cimbri tribe during the Cimbrian War. He is most known for his spectacular victory against the Romans at the Battle of Arausio in 105 BC, seen as the worst Roman military defeat since the Battle of Cannae. He died at the Battle of Vercellae in 101 BC, in a last stand with his noblemen.

Abrupolis
Abrupolis (Ancient Greek,"Ἀβρούπολις") (fl. 2nd century BC) was a king of the Thracian Sapaei, and ally of the Romans. He attacked the dominions of Perseus of Macedon, eldest son of the recently deceased Philip V of Macedon, around 179 BC, and laid them waste as far as Amphipolis, as well as overrunning the gold mines of Mount Pangaeus. He was afterwards driven out of his holdings by Perseus, the conflict of which helped ignite the Third Macedonian War, since Rome took issue with the ousting of an ally from his territories.

Diegylis (Ancient Greek: Διήγυλις) was a chieftain of the Thracian Caeni tribe and father of Ziselmius. He is described by ancient sources (such as Diodorus Siculus) as extremely bloodthirsty.

The Arverni were a powerful opponent of the Roman Republic during the 3rd and 2nd centuries under the leadership of Luernius, the father of Bituitus. Epulon (Epulo, Epulone, Aepulo; ruled 181 – 177 BC) was a king or tribal leader of the Histri in northern Illyria. Epulon conducted a series of wars against commanders sent by the Roman Republic during the Roman expansion of the first half of the 2nd century BC, until his death in 177 BC.

Mostis (Ancient Greek: Μόστις) ruled from ca. 130 to 90 BC as king of the Caeni over territories in South East Thrace, Strandzha in modern-day Bulgaria and Turkey.

Zoltes was a chief of the southern Thracians, living in the Haemus mountains area. Leading small groups, he often made incursions into the Pontic cities and within their territories. He attacked the city of Histria, calling off the siege only after having received 7500 drachmas and 5 talents (approx. 30000 drachmas).
