Nice ( ; ) is a city located in the prefecture of the Alpes-Maritimes department in France. It is located on the French Riviera between Cannes and Nice; it is the largest yachting harbour in Europe. In 2023, the commune had a population of 77,637, making it Alpes-Maritimes's second-most populated after Nice.

One of the oldest medieval towns on the French Riviera, Saint-Paul-de-Vence is well known for its modern and contemporary art museums and galleries such as the Fondation Maeght, and for the 17th-century Saint Charles-Saint Claude chapel, which in 2012–2013 was decorated with murals by French artist Paul Conte.

In 2018, Èze had 2,225 inhabitants known as Ezasques (masculine and feminine).
