The Mudawana (or Moudawana, ), short for mudawwanat al-aḥwāl ash-shakhṣiyyah (, ), is the personal status code, also known as the family code, in Moroccan law. It concerns issues related to the family, including the regulation of marriage, polygamy, divorce, inheritance, and child custody.
