Its Members of the European Parliament sat in the Europe of Nations and Freedom group from 2015 to 2019, then in the Identity and Democracy group between 2019 and 2024; following the 2024 European Parliament election, all of its MEPs sit within the Patriots for Europe group.

NordNat was an association of nationalist parties, founded in Malmö on 8 June 1997, in an attempt to unite Nordic nationalist parties. The main initiator was the Sweden Democrats, which were then also a member of the wider EuroNat together with the Finnish Patriotic People's Movement.
