Kehys-Kainuu
Kehys-Kainuu is a subdivision of Kainuu and one of the sub-regions of Finland since 2009. It borders Russia to the East, specifically the Karelian Republic. To the Southwest, it borders Kajaani, to the North, it borders Koillismaa, to the West, Oulunkaari, and to the south, Pielien Karelia.

Mulkkusaaret

Mulkkusaaret (literally translates to Dick Islands or Penis Islands) is a group of three small islands and one rock in lake Oulujärvi in the Paltamo municipality in Finland. The islands are located north of Tevä island, approximately south-southwest from Melalahti village and approximately north-northwest from Paltaniemi village.
Manamansalo
Manamansalo is the largest island in the Oulujärvi, the fifth largest lake in Finland. Administratively it belongs to the Vaala municipality in North Ostrobothnia, or Kainuu until 2016. It is the seventh largest inland island in Finland, or the fifth largest if Soisalo and Sääminginsalo are not counted as islands.
