Otra
The Otra is the largest river in the Sørlandet region of Norway. It begins in Setesdalsheiene mountains at the lake Breidvatnet in Bykle municipality in Agder county, just south of the border with Vinje municipality in Telemark county. The river then flows south through Bykle, Valle, Bygland, Evje og Hornnes, Iveland, Vennesla, and Kristiansand municipalities. The river empties into the Skagerrak in the center of the city of Kristiansand on the southern coast of Norway.
Tveit
Tveit is a village and surrounding district in Oddernes borough in the city of Kristiansand in Agder county, Norway. The Tveit district is located in the northeastern part of Kristiansand, northeast of the Topdalsfjorden along the lower part of the Tovdalselva river. Tveit is the site of the main airport for Southern Norway: Kristiansand Airport, Kjevik. The district was the separate municipality of Tveit from 1838 until it was merged into Kristiansand in 1965.
Flekkerøy
Flekkerøy or Flekkerøya is an island and residential district in Kristiansand municipality in Agder county, Norway. The district is located within the borough of Vågsbygd, and it consists of 4 main neighborhoods: Berge/Andås, Kjære, Lindebø/Skålevik, and Mæbø/Høyfjellet. The district covers all of the island of Flekkerøya which lies within the city of Kristiansand. Since 1989, the island (and district) has been connected to the mainland through the Flekkerøy Tunnel, a long subsea road tunnel. The island has 3,632 inhabitants (as of 23 October 2013). Flekkerøy Church is located on the island.
Nodeland
Nodeland is a village in Kristiansand municipality in Agder County, Norway. Nodeland was the administrative centre of former Songdalen municipality which was merged into Kristiansand in 2020. The village is located about northwest of the city center of Kristiansand. The village is the main urban area of Songdalen area, surrounded by several smaller villages such as Nodelandsheia, Brennåsen, Volleberg, and Hortemo.
Tovdalselva
Tovdalselva (also known as the Tofdalselva, Tovdalsåna, Tovdalsåni, literally: the Tov valley river) is long and is one of the longest rivers in Southern Norway. The river flows through Agder county from the mountains on the northeast side of the Setesdal valley in Valle municipality southwards, until it reaches the sea at the Tofdalsfjorden between Hamresanden and Kjevik in Kristiansand. Volleberg
Volleberg is a village in Kristiansand municipality in Agder county, Norway. The village is located along the river Songdalselva, in former Songdalen municipality, right on the border with former Søgne municipality (pre 2020). The European route E39 highway passes by the village on its way from Nodeland and Brennåsen about to the north and Tangvall (in Søgne) about to the south. The village has a population (2016) of 560 which gives the village a population density of . The village is primarily a residential community with people working in the nearby urban areas of Kristiansand and Søgne.
Odderøya
Odderøya is an island and neighborhoods in Kristiansand municipality in Agder county, Norway. The island lies immediately to the south of the city centre of Kristiansand and it is connected to the mainland by four bridges. The island creates a natural division between the eastern and western parts of the port of Kristiansand.

The area is located along the Torvefjorden, about west of the hamlet of Høllen and about northeast of the hamlet of Trysnes. Tangvall is a village in Kristiansand municipality in Agder county, Norway. It was the administrative centre of the old Søgne municipality which existed until 2020. The village is located along the European route E39 highway and the river Søgneelva. The village sits just north of Åros and Høllen, northeast of the village of Eig, and east of the village of Lunde.

Sørlandssenteret is among the largest shopping centres in Norway and Northern Europe. It lies 12 km east of Kristiansand, close to the popular Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park. Sørlandssenteret was built in 1987. The mall expanded in 1995 and 2013. In 2005 the mall had over 3.6 million visitors. From October 2013, after extensive development, the center now has a surface area of 90,900 m², there are 195 shops and 3,000 parking spaces. It is the Nordic region's fourth largest shopping center.

Strai is a village and a district in the municipality of Kristiansand in Agder, Norway. It is located in the borough of Grim. Its population (2014) is about 1,000. The district of Mosby lies to the north, the districts of Lund, Kvadraturen, and Grim are located to the south, and the Songdalen area lies to the west.
Topdalsfjorden
Topdalsfjorden or Tofdalsfjorden is a fjord in the municipality of Kristiansand in Agder county, Norway. The long fjord runs from the village of Ålefjær south to the city centre of Kristiansand. The river Topdalselva empties into the fjord at the eastern side just south of the Kristiansand Airport, Kjevik. The European route E18 highway crosses the fjord on the Varodd Bridge.
Brennåsen
Brennåsen is a village in Kristiansand municipality in Agder county, Norway. The village is located along the river Songdalselva, about southeast of the village of Nodeland and about north of the village of Volleberg. The European route E39 highway passes through Brennåsen as it travels between the cities of Kristiansand and Stavanger. The village was part of Songdalen municipality prior to 2020 when that municipality was dissolved.

Vågsbygd is a borough and district in the city of Kristiansand which lies in the municipality of Kristiansand in Agder county, Norway. It is the largest borough and district in Kristiansand. Until 1965, Vågsbygd was a part of Oddernes municipality. The borough includes the districts of Flekkerøy, Voiebyen, Vågsbygd/Augland, and Slettheia. The Kristiansand Cannon Museum on Kroodden is an authentic fortress from World War II.
Bragdøya
Bragdøya is an island in Kristiansand municipality in Agder county, Norway. The island is in the archipelago in the Kristiansandsfjorden, just south of the city of Kristiansand. The island is surrounded by the smaller islands of Svensholmen and Langøya to the north (across the narrow Bragdøyrenna strait) and the island of Hestehaue to the southeast. The heavily populated island of Andøya lies to the southwest.

Trysfjorden is a fjord located in the municipality of Kristiansand in Agder county, Norway. The mouth of the long fjord sits just west of the village of Trysnes and just northeast of the village of Ålo. Gillsvannet
Gillsvannet or Gjelsvannet is a freshwater lake in the municipality of Kristiansand in Agder county, Norway. The lake is located about northeast of downtown Kristiansand, along to County Road 452. The lake lies about west of the Topdalsfjorden, at an elevation of about above sea level. There is a practice range for kayaking on the lake as well as many areas used for swimming during the summer season. The Gimlekollen district lies on the southern shore of the lake and the village of Justvik lies just north of the lake.

Songdalselva or Søgneelva or Songa is a river in Agder county, Norway. The long river in the hills between Finsland in Kristiansand municipality and Hægeland in Vennesla municipality. The catchment area is located between the Otra river and Mandalselva river watersheds. The river runs through the villages of Hortemo, Nodeland, Volleberg, Tangvall, Åros, and Høllen.
