Seungjeongwon
Sŭngjŏngwŏn (), or Royal Secretariat, was the royal administrative office during the Joseon dynasty responsible for receiving and delivering the king's orders. The office was also called Chŏngwŏn (), Huwŏn (), Ŭndae (), or Taeŏnsa (). According to the Kyŏngguk taejŏn (Complete Codes of Law), the Sŭngjŏngwŏn had six royal secretaries (), whose ranks were in the 3rd senior grade, as well as two recorders ().

Ŭigŭmbu (), also known as Kŭmo or Wangbu, was the Joseon royal law enforcement body responsible for prosecuting treason and moral crimes based on Confucian principles (). Ordinary crimes were investigated and prosecuted by Hyeongjo. It played a crucial role in strengthening the authority of the monarchy.

Saheonbu
Sahŏnbu () was a government office during the Korean Goryeo and Joseon periods. It administered inspections, especially on the Joseon capital Hanyang (Seoul) and periphery. It was also responsible for licensing officials, impeachment and legal inquiries, which also extended to the control of King's relatives. An important duty was to remonstrate with the king.
Gungnaebu
Kungnaebu () was a government office of Joseon and the Korean Empire in charge of affairs related to the royal House of Yi. In the government organization during the Joseon Dynasty, the division between the state of affairs and royal affairs was not distinctive. It had several subdivisions such as Jonchinbu, and Uibinbu, Donnyeongbu and others, some of which were independently operated or belonged to Yukjo (Six Ministries of Joseon).

Sanguiwon
Sangŭiwŏn () was a Joseon government department in charge of the royal attire. Before the foundation of the Joseon dynasty, the Goryeo dynasty also set up a similar department, which was called "Sanguiguk". The name, however, continued to transform during the late Goryeo period.

During the Goryeo dynasty, it was known as Yemun Ch'unch'ugwan (예문춘추관; 藝文春秋館) or Munhansŏ''' (문한서; 文翰署), but the name was changed in 1401 after the foundation of the Joseon dynasty.
