Hinnøya
Hinnøya (Norwegian; ) is the fourth-largest island in Norway, and the largest outside the Svalbard archipelago. The lies just off the western coast of Northern Norway. The island sits on the border of Nordland and Troms counties. The western part of the island is in the district of Vesterålen, the southwestern part is in the Lofoten district, the southeastern part is in the Ofoten district, and the northeastern part is in Troms. , Hinnøya had a population of 32,688. The only town on the island is the town of Harstad. Some of the larger villages include Borkenes, Lødingen, Sigerfjord, and Sørvi
Langøya
Langøya is the third largest island of Norway (outside of Svalbard), with an area of . The island is a part of the Vesterålen archipelago in Nordland county, Norway. The island includes Bø Municipality and Øksnes Municipality as well as parts of Sortland Municipality and Hadsel Municipality.
Austvågøya
Austvågøya is the northeasternmost and largest of the larger islands in the Lofoten archipelago in Nordland county, Norway. It is located between the Vestfjorden and the Norwegian Sea. The island of Vestvågøya lies to the southwest and the large island of Hinnøya to the northeast. In 2017, the island had about 9,000 residents.
Alsta
Alsta is an island in Alstahaug Municipality and Leirfjord Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island is surrounded by the Vefsnfjorden to the east, the Leirfjorden to the north, and the Alstenfjorden to the south and west. The eastern part of the island is dominated by the Seven Sisters mountain range () which has five mountains higher than , while the western part of the island is relatively flat and is the location of the town of Sandnessjøen and the village of Søvika in the south. Gimsøya
Gimsøya is an island in Vågan Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. Gimsøya is situated between the islands of Austvågøya and Vestvågøya in the Lofoten archipelago. The island has a population (2016) of 181.
Hadseløya
or is an island in Hadsel Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the Vesterålen region on the north side of the Hadselfjorden. The town of Stokmarknes is situated on the northern shore of the island and the village of Melbu is on the southern coast.
Åsvær
Åsværet is a small group of islands lying on the Arctic Circle in Dønna Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The islands lie on the south side of the Nordåsværfjord, about south of the island of Lovund and northwest of the island of Dønna. The Åsvær Lighthouse was built here in 1876. The islands are noted for their herring fishery.
Husøy
Husøya is a small island and the administrative centre of Træna Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located just east of the island of Sanna in the Trænfjorden, about northwest of the island of Lovund (in neighboring Lurøy Municipality) and about south of Selvær. The Træna Lighthouse lies south of the island. The island is only accessible by boat, and there is regular ferry service from Husøya to the island of Selvær and to Stokkvågen on the mainland.
Engeløya
Engeløya is an island in the northern part of Steigen Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island has an area of . The highest point on the island is the Trohornet mountain. The rocky, mountainous island has grassy slopes that are fertile and it has some of the better farmland in the municipality. The island sits in the entrance to the Sagfjorden, just south of the island of Lundøya.

Vestvågøya
Vestvågøya (or less-commonly: Vest-Vågøy) is an island in the Lofoten archipelago in Nordland county, Norway. The island is located within Vestvågøy Municipality. The island lies between the islands of Austvågøya and Gimsøya to the northeast and Flakstadøya to the southwest. There are also several small islands and skerries surrounding the island. Vestvågøya makes up over 97% of the municipal area and about 99% of the inhabitants of the municipality live on the island. The European route E10 highway crosses the island connecting to Flakstadøya by the Nappstraum Tunnel and to Gimsøya by the Sun

Aldra
Aldra is an island in Lurøy Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located just off the mainland coast, north of the village of Haugland and west of Brattland. The island is separated from the mainland by the Aldersundet strait. The islands of Stigen and Lurøya lie to the west. The village of Aldra lies on the southeastern side of the island.

Mosken
Mosken is a small uninhabited rocky island in Værøy Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island is located in the Lofoten archipelago about halfway between the islands of Værøya to the south and Moskenesøya to the north. The Moskenstraumen maelstrom—one of the most powerful in the world—is located on the north side of the island of Mosken. Historically, the island was used for grazing sheep in both the summer and the winter.
Handnesøya
Handnesøya is an island in Nesna Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island lies between the islands of Tomma and Hugla and the mainland, along the Sjona fjord. The mountainous island has a very narrow flat areas on the east and west sides where the island's residents live. There is a ferry connection from the village of Handnesneset on the southern tip of the island to the village of Nesna on the mainland and to the island of Tomma. Barøya
or is an uninhabited island in Narvik Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island is located in the Ofotfjorden near the entrance to the Efjorden. The village of Lødingen lies north of the island. Barøy Lighthouse is located on the northwestern part of the island. The highest point on the island is the tall mountain Sørfjellet.
Røst
Røstlandet or simply Røst is an island in Røst Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island makes up the majority of the land of the municipality and is home to most of its residents. The island is very low and marshy, with the highest point on the island only reaching above sea level. There are many small lakes on the island, many of the wetlands areas on the island are located in a protected nature reserve.

Litlmolla
Litlmolla is an uninhabited island in Vågan Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island lies southeast of the town of Svolvær in the Vestfjorden. The island is located in the Lofoten archipelago, south of the large island of Austvågøya, southwest of the island of Stormolla, and northeast of the small island of Skrova. The island was formerly inhabited, but has long since been abandoned. The highest point on the island is the tall Nonstinden.
Hugla
Hugla is an island in Nesna Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island lies south of the islands of Tomma and Handnesøya, west of the mainland of Nesna Municipality, east of the island of Løkta, and north of the Ranfjorden. Bolga
Bolga is an island in Meløy Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island has a population (2017) of 105. It is located west of the islands of Meløya and Åmøya, just off the coast of the Helgeland region. The highest point on the island is the tall Bolgtinden. Most of the population of the island lives along the eastern shore in the village that is also known as Bolga. It is the only village on the island. There are regular ferry connections from Bolga to the islands of Meløya to the east and to Vassdalsvik and Ørnes on the mainland.
Tomma
Tomma is an island in Nesna Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island sits to the west of the islands of Handnesøya and Hugla. The island is at the southern entrance to the Sjona fjord. Skogsøya
Skogsøya is an island in Øksnes Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island lies off the west coast of the large island of Langøya, just west of the village of Myre. The highest point on the island is the tall mountain Sørsandtinden.
Storselsøya
Storselsøya (also known as Selsøya or Hestmona) is an island in Nordland county, Norway. The island is divided between two municipalities: Rødøy Municipality in the north and Lurøy Municipality in the south. The island of Nesøya lies to the west, the island of Lurøya lies to the south, and the mainland village of Tonnes lies to the east.
Straumøya
Straumøya is an island in Bodø Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island is located on the south side of the Saltfjorden, just west of the Saltstraumen strait. The island is connected to the mainland by the Indre Sunnan Bridge and to the nearby island Knaplundsøya by the Saltstraumen Bridge, both bridges are a part of Norwegian County Road 17. In 2016, the island had 278 residents.

Ylvingen is an island in Vega Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island lies just off the west coast of Norway, between the island of Vega and the mainland. In 2017, there were 25 residents on the island.

Landegode (also written as Landego) is an island in Vestfjorden, just north of Bodø in Nordland county, Norway. The island belongs to Bodø Municipality and has an area of . The highest point on the mountainous island is the tall Rypdalstinden.

Gjerøy
Gjerdøya is an island in Rødøy Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in a group of islands located west of the peninsula between the Tjongsfjorden and Melfjorden. It lies south of the island of Rødøya, north of the island of Rangsundøya, and west of the island of Renga. The main village on the island is called Gjerøy. The island has a population (2016) of 87 people. There is regular ferry service to Gjerdøya from the mainland and to the islands surrounding it.
Åmøya
Åmøya is an island in Meløy Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island lies west of the mainland, east of the island of Bolga, and south of the island of Meløya. The island is connected to the mainland by a series of small bridges over the island of Grønnøya and several other small islands between Åmøya and the village of Engavågen on the mainland. The island is very mountainous, the highest mountain is the Risnestinden. There were 112 residents living on the island in 2016.
Løkta
Løkta is an island in Dønna Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island is located between the islands of Dønna and Hugla, at the entrance to the Ranfjorden. The village of Sandåker is located on the southern part of the island, just west of the tall Sandåkerfjellet. Løkta Church is located on the island. Historically, the western part of the island was a part of the old Dønnes Municipality and the eastern part belonged to Nesna Municipality, but in 1962 all of the island became a part of Dønna Municipality. In 2017, there were 135 residents of the island.

Stormolla
Stormolla or Molla is an island in Vågan Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the Lofoten islands, south of the large islands of Austvågøya and Hinnøya and northeast of the smaller islands of Litlmolla and Skrova. The highest point on the island is the tall mountain Heggedalstinden.
Bleiksøya
thumb|Bleiksøya Bleiksøya or Bleiksøy is a small (15 ha) uninhabited island and nature reserve in near the fishing village of Bleik on the island of Andøya in Andøy Municipality of Nordland county in Arctic northern Norway. It is a steep pyramidal island with grassy slopes and cliffs surrounded by gullies and boulder scree. It, with its adjacent marine waters, has been designated a 530 ha Important Bird Area (IBA) by BirdLife International (BLI) because it supports a large breeding colony of Atlantic puffins. A 2016 assessment by BLI found that the puffin population was threatened by
Sandhornøya
Sandhornøya is a mountainous island in Gildeskål Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island is located south of the town of Bodø near the entrance to the Saltfjorden. The mainland of Norway lies to the east and the islands of Fleina, Sør-Arnøya, and Nord-Arnøya lie to the west. The villages of Lekanger, Mårnes, and Våg are located on the island. The island is connected to the mainland by the Sandhornøy Bridge. Sandhornøya is also the birthplace of famous Norwegian professor and hymn writer, Elias Blix. A memorial monument of Blix can be seen by the coastline.
Knaplundsøya
Knaplundsøya is an island in Bodø Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island lies just southeast of the town of Bodø, between the Saltfjorden and the Skjerstadfjorden. The island is connected to the mainland and to the neighboring island of Straumøya by the Norwegian County Road 17. The Saltstraumen strait and its famous maelstrom are located between Straumøya and Knaplundsøya. The island had 392 residents in 2016, mostly living on the western village of Knaplund and the northeastern village of Godøya.

Lovund
Lovund is an island and village in Lurøy Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island is located west of the Solvær islands and southeast of Træna Municipality, a neighboring island municipality. Lovund is notable for the large puffin breeding colony located on the rocky north slope of the island.
Vandve
Vandve is an island in Dønna Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The flat island lies about west of the island of Dønna and about south of the Åsværet islands. Vandve Church is located on the island. There is a regular ferry connection to the nearby island of Dønna. In 2017, there were about 30 residents of the island.

Børøya
or is a small island in Hadsel Municipality in Nordlandcounty, Norway. The island is located in the Langøysundet strait between the island of Langøya and the town of Stokmarknes on the island of Hadseløya. Børøya has an area of and the highest point on the island is above sea level. Norwegian County Road 82 runs across the island connecting it to Langøya and Hadseløya. In the east, the Hadsel Bridge connects with Langøya. In the west, a short bridge connects the island to Stokmarknes.

Helligvær is an island group in the Vestfjorden in Bodø Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The islands are located about northwest of the town of Bodø. The Bliksvær islands are about to the south, Landegode island is to the east, and the islands of Røstlandet and Værøya are about to the west.
Mindlandet
Mindlandet is an island in Alstahaug Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island lies at the mouth of the Vefsnfjorden, just south of the islands of Tjøtta and Rødøya. The island is fairly flat, and has a lot of very good agricultural land.

Nord-Arnøya is an island in Gildeskål Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island had 52 residents in 2017. It lies directly north of the island of Sør-Arnøya. There is a long bridge connecting the two islands. There is a small fishing village on the west side of the island (also called Nord-Arnøya).
Bliksvær
Bliksvær or Briksvær is an island group in the Vestfjorden in Bodø Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The islands are located about west of the town of Bodø. The Helligvær islands are about to the north, Landegode island is to the northeast, and the islands of Røstlandet and Værøya around about to the west.
