Sotra
Sotra is the name of the largest island in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located just west of the city of Bergen. It is part of a pair of islands called 'Sotra' and 'Litlesotra' () that are part of a large archipelago stretching from Fedje southwards along the coast of Norway. The larger of the two islands is Sotra which is sometimes called Store Sotra (), while Litlesotra is smaller and less populated of the two. Roughly 28,700 (2017) people live on the two islands of Sotra, with the larger island having a population of about 19,100 (2017) and 9,589 (2017) living on
Bremangerlandet
Bremangerlandet is an island in Bremanger Municipality in the traditional district of Nordfjord in Vestland county, Norway. The island is one of the largest islands in the county. The highest point on the island is the tall mountain Svartevassegga, however the cliff at Hornelen, located to the east, is more well-known and has an elevation of . The long lake Dalevatnet is located in the central part of the island.
Misje
Misje is an island (and village) in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies just south of the island of Toftøyna and north of the large island of Sotra. Almost all of the 320 inhabitants (as of 2023) live on the eastern part of the island, which is referred to as the village of Misje.

Algrøyna is an island in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies just west of the large island of Sotra and north of the small island of Lokøyna. There are a series of bridges connecting it to the island of Sotra, which in turn is connected to the mainland. The highest point on the island is the tall mountain Hillefjellet. Almost all the 386 residents (in 2019) of the island live along the northern shore, in a village area that is referred to as Algrøyna.

Huftarøy
Huftarøy is the largest island in Austevoll Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies in the Austevoll archipelago, just west of the Bjørnafjorden, south of the Krossfjorden, east of the Mokstrafjorden, and north of the Selbjørnsfjorden. The largest settlement on the island is the village of Storebø on the northern part of the island (Storebø is the administrative centre of the municipality.)

Møkster is an island in Austevoll Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies in an archipelago and it sits north of the islands of Litlakalsøy, Stolmen, and Selbjørn; west of the islands of Drøna and Rostøya; and south of the islands of Horga, Storakalsøy and Hundvåko. The island had 33 inhabitants in 2025.

Selbjørn
Selbjørn is an island in Austevoll Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island is the second largest in the municipality (after Huftarøy). Most of the population lives along the northern and eastern coastlines of the island. The commercial centre of Selbjørn is the village of Bekkjarvik, where Bekkjarvik Church is located.

Halsnøy
Halsnøya is an island in Kvinnherad Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies between the Hardangerfjorden and Skånevikfjorden. The island has about 2,600 inhabitants (2024) and it is the most populated island in Kvinnherad Municipality. Prior to 2008, it was the most populated island in Norway without a direct connection to land, but the Halsnøy Tunnel opened that year, finally connecting it to the mainland by road. There is a regular ferry connection from southern Halsnøya to the neighboring islands of Fjelbergøya and Borgundøya, located just south of Halsnøya.

Lysøya is an uninhabited island in Bjørnafjorden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies in the Lysefjorden, a small branch off the main Bjørnafjorden. The island name was historically spelled Lysøen.
Reksteren
Reksteren is an island in Tysnes Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island covers an area of . Its highest point is the tall Bjørnkletten. The island lies northwest of the larger island of Tysnesøya. The small Bårdsundet strait separates the two islands and there is a road bridge connecting the two islands. The Langenuen strait runs along the west side of the island and the Bjørnafjorden lies along the north side of the island. The village of Gjøvåg lies along the western coast of the island and Reksteren Church is located along the eastern shore.

Turøyna is an island in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies just west of the islands of Toftøyna and Misje. Prior to 1964, the island was part of the old Herdla Municipality. Then from 1964 until 2020 it was part of Fjell Municipality.

Litlesotra
Litlesotra (sometimes Lille Sotra) is an island in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is part of the Sotra island group which makes up the southern part of a larger archipelago of islands from Fedje south through the Øygarden archipelago. The island has about 9,500 residents. The main settlement on the island is Straume. Other settlements include Knarrevik, Foldnes, and Brattholmen. The island is connected to the mainland via the Sotra Bridge. It is also connected to the large island of Sotra, via a series of bridges over the island of Bildøyna.

Varaldsøy is an island (and village) in Kvinnherad Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island is the largest island in the Hardangerfjorden. Most of the inhabitants live on the southern tip of the island in the village of Varaldsøy, where Varaldsøy Church is located. The tall mountain Øyefjellet is the highest point on the island.
Bildøy
Bildøyna is a small island in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies between the islands of Litlesotra to the west and Store Sotra to the east. An upper secondary school and a lower secondary school are located on the island. In 2017, there were about 600 residents on the island. There is a Lutheran Bible school located on the island.

Holsnøy is an island in Alver Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies to the north/west of the mainland, between the islands of Radøy to the north and Askøy to the south. The highest point on the island is the tall Eldsfjellet, a mountain located about north of the village of Rossland. The island is hilly and marshy, with the majority of the residents living along the southern shore. The largest settlement on the island is the village of Frekhaug on the southern shore.

Hernar is an island in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is one of the northernmost islands in the Øygarden archipelago. The island is rocky and barren. Most of the settlement is in one cluster on the southwestern part of the island along the small harbor area. The eastern third of the island is uninhabited.

Barmøya
Barmøya or Barmen is a small island in Stad Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies just off the mainland between the Stad peninsula and the island of Vågsøy. Most of the island's 50 or so residents live on the southern shore in a small village that is known as Barmen. There is a small car ferry that runs from Barmen to the mainland to the south. The eastern half of the island is made up of the tall mountain Skjolden.

Storakalsøy is an island in Austevoll Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies northwest of the larger island of Hundvåko and just east of the Marstein Lighthouse. The northern part of the island is very rocky and mountainous. The highest point is the tall mountain Mjuken. The smaller islands of Nautøya and Spissøya lies just east of Storakalsøy. The smaller islands of Horgo, Møkster, and Litlakalsøy lie to the south of Storakalsøy.

Litlakalsøy is an island in Austevoll Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies in the Austevoll archipelago. It sits in the Møkstrafjorden south of the island of Møkster, north of the island of Stolmen, and west of the large island of Huftarøy. The island had 26 inhabitants in 2001. The island is only accessible by boat.

Svanøya or Brulandet is an island in Kinn Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island is located in the Sunnfjord district of the county. The island lies just to the west of the mainland, in the mouth of the Førdefjorden. The Brufjorden runs along the north and east sides of the island and the Stavfjorden runs along the south side of the island. The island of Askrova lies about northwest of Svanøya.

Føyno
Føyno is an island in Stord Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies southwest of the island of Stord at the southern end of the Stokksundet sound. The Digernessundet strait runs between this island and the neighboring island of Stord. Føyno had a central place in the district of Sunnhordland during the Middle Ages, and gave its name to the medieval skipreide of Føyen.

The village of Kolbeinsvik lies about south of Rostøya. The island is connected to the island of Huftarøy by a road bridge that crosses the wide channel separating the islands.

Reksta is an island in Kinn Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies about west of the town of Florø in a large group of inhabited islands. Reksta sits about east of the island of Kinn, about north of the island of Askrova, and about south of the island of Skorpa. Most of the inhabitants on Reksta live on the west side in and around the small fishing village of Rognaldsvåg. The population of the island (2001) is 144.

Luro or Lygra is an island in Alver Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island sits in the Lurefjorden which cuts into the Lindås peninsula. There is one road on the island that continues over a short bridge onto the mainland. The bridge was built in 1972. The island has been the site of Lygra Church since the Middle Ages. Fjelbergøya is an island in Kvinnherad Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies on the south side of the Hardangerfjorden, between the islands of Borgundøya (to the south) and Halsnøya (to the northeast). These three neighboring islands are located very close together, only a few hundred meters separate them at certain points. Historically, this island was the centre of the old Fjelberg Municipality. Today, the islands of Fjelbergøya and Borgundøya are still often collectively referred to as Fjelberg.
