Visingsö is an island in the southern half of Lake Vättern in Sweden.

Kållandsö
Kållandsö is an island in lake Vänern in Sweden. With an area of 56.78 km² it is the second largest island in the lake after Torsö. It is the northernmost part of the municipality of Lidköping. Kållandsö and the surrounding archipelago has about 1,100 inhabitants.
Frösön

Frösön (, ; "Frey's island") is the largest island in the lake Storsjön, Jämtland, Sweden. Part of the city Östersund is located on the island. During most of recorded history Frösön was the regional centre of Jämtland, and it is the location of the Frösö Runestone, the northernmost runestone in the world.
Torsö
Torsö (''Thor's Island'') is the biggest island of Sweden's lake Vänern, area 62.03 km2. Torsö is located in Mariestad Municipality. Torsö formerly consisted of two islands (Torsö and Fågelö), but around 1930 the water in between was pumped out, and the former lakebed is now used for growing crops.

Selaön
Selaön is the largest island in Mälaren, Sweden, and covers 94.72 km². It is located at Stallarholmen, east of Strängnäs, and it has about 1,800 permanent residents. It is connected by a bridge to the mainland. It is the largest island in any lake in Sweden.

Ammerön
Ammerön is the 19th biggest island in Sweden. It is located in the lake Revsundssjön.
