Puula
Puula (or Puulavesi) is a lake in the Kymi River area in the Finnish municipalities of Hirvensalmi, Kangasniemi and Mikkeli. Puula is above sea level, with a surface area of . It is deep at its deepest point, located near Porttisalmi at Simpiänselkä, which is the biggest open area of the lake. Two big lakes Suontee and Puula were one lake until year 1854, when the water level was lowered 2.5 meters. This brought geological stacks above the surface, which are formed by water.
Kyyvesi
Kyyvesi (transl. Viper Water) is a rather large lake in the Southern Savonia region of Finland. It has a surface area of 129,95 km², is very shallow and extremely rocky. Motorboating on Kyyvesi is recommended only for very experienced boaters as many of the rocks have not been mapped. Also, the limited amount of landing sites is a hindrance in moving swiftly through the lake. A general bathymetric chart was completed in 2006. Synsiä is a medium-sized lake in Southern Savonia, Finland. The lake is quite shallow. It is located in Kangasniemi municipality near the Finnish National Road 13. From the road there is a nice scenery to the lake and the farms around it.
