Mass media in the European Union

Euronews is a pan-European television news network, headquartered in Lyon, France. It is a provider of livestreamed news, which can be viewed in Europe and North Africa via satellite, and in most of the world via its website, on YouTube, and on various mobile devices and digital media players.

Eurosport is a group of pay television networks in Europe and parts of Asia that operates two main channels—Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2—across most of its territories, and streams on HBO Max and Discovery+. It is a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Discovery EMEA, a division of Warner Bros. Discovery International, which is itself a division of Warner Bros. Discovery Global Linear Networks.

Euractiv is a European news website focused on EU policies, founded in 1999 by the French media publisher Christophe Leclercq. Its headquarters and central editorial staff are located in Brussels, with other offices in Paris and Berlin. Its content is produced by about 50 journalists staffed in Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland, Romania and Slovakia.

EuroparlTV is the webTV of the European Parliament. The service includes news, debates, interviews, educational videos, archived content as well as live streaming of parliamentary sessions and committee meetings. All videos are subtitled in all 24 official languages of the European Union (EU), whilst the “Young Parliament” programmes are voiced over in all EU languages.

EUobserver is a European online newspaper, launched in 2000 by the Brussels-based organisation EUobserver.com ASBL.

Voxeurop is a multilingual news website aimed at European audiences. Voxeurop was launched in 2014, after the demise of Presseurop.
