Kozani
Kozani (, ) is a city in northern Greece, capital of the Kozani regional unit and of Western Macedonia. It is located in the western part of Macedonia, in the northern part of the Aliakmonas river valley. The city lies above sea level, northwest of the artificial lake Polyfytos, south-west of Thessaloniki, between the mountains Pieria, Vermio, Vourinos and Askio. The population of the Kozani municipality is over 67,000 people. The climate of the area is continental with cold and dry winters, and hot summers.
Kastoria
Kastoria (, Kastoriá ) is a city in northern Greece in the region of Western Macedonia. It is the capital of the Kastoria regional unit, in the geographic region of Macedonia. It is situated on a promontory on the western shore of Lake Orestiada, in a valley surrounded by limestone mountains. The city is known for its many Byzantine churches, Byzantine and Ottoman-era domestic architecture, its lake and its fur clothing industry.
Florina
Florina (, Flórina; known also by some alternative names) is a town and municipality in Western Macedonia, Greece. It is the capital of the Florina regional unit and also the seat of the eponymous municipality. The town's population is 17,188 people (2021 census). It is in a wooded valley about south of the international border of Greece with North Macedonia.
Grevena
Grevena (, Grevená ; ) is a town and municipality in Western Macedonia, northern Greece, and the capital of the Grevena regional unit. Grevena lies about from Athens and about from Thessaloniki. According to the 2021 census, the town's population is 12,515, and that of the municipality 25,905.
Amyntaio
Amyntaio (, before 1928: Σόροβιτς – Sorovits; Macedonian: Суровичево, Сорович), is a town and municipality in the Florina regional unit of Macedonia, Greece. The population of Amyntaio proper is 4,348, while that of the entire municipality is 14,169 (2021). The town is named after the ancient king of Macedon, and father of Philip II and grandfather of Alexander the Great, Amyntas III.
Deskati Municipality
Deskati () is a mountainous municipality in the Grevena regional unit. The current municipality of Deskati was formed in 2011 by the merge of the former municipality of Deskati and the municipality of Chasia. The main economic activities in Deskati are farming and animal husbandry.

Prespes Municipality
Prespes () is a municipality in the Florina regional unit, Western Macedonia, Greece. Its population in 2021 was 1,211. The seat of the municipality is in Laimos. It was named after Lake Prespa, in the western part of the municipality.
Eordaia Municipality
Eordaia () is a municipality in the Kozani regional unit of Western Macedonia, Greece, located in substantially the same geographical area as the ancient region of the same name. It covers an area of 708.807 km2 and has a population of 42,515 according to the 2021 census. The seat of the municipality is the town of Ptolemaida.
Nestorio

Velventos
Velventos () or Velvento (Βελβεντό) is a town and municipality in Kozani regional unit, Western Macedonia, Greece. The 2021 census recorded 2,949 people in the community of Velventos and 3,057 in the municipality. The municipality has an area of 126.516 km2, the community 54.573 km2.
