Assiros
Assiros (, before 1926: Γιουβέσνα - Giouvesna, ) is a village and a former municipality in the Thessaloniki regional unit, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Lagkadas, of which it is a municipal unit. The 2011 census recorded 2,037 inhabitants in the community of Assiros and 3,290 inhabitants in the municipal unit. The community of Assiros covers an area of 55.369 km2, while the respective municipal unit covers an area of 76.657 km2.
Aiani
Aiani (, before 1926: Καλλιανή - Kalliani) is a town and a former municipality in the Kozani regional unit, Macedonia, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Kozani, of which it is a municipal unit and historical seat of the municipality of Kozani. It is located near Haliacmon river and is 22 km south of the city of Kozani. The municipal community of Aianis is classified as an urban semi-mountainous settlement. The 2021 census recorded 1,586 residents in the village and 2,826 residents in municipal unit of Aiani. The municipal unit has an area of 156
