Plesiadapis
Plesiadapis (near Adapis) is an extinct genus of mammal closely related to primates, found in North America and western Europe. The type species, P. tricuspidens, was described in 1877 by François Louis Paul Gervaise, based on a partial left mandible (lower jaw) uncovered in France. Fourteen valid species have since been named.
Cynodictis
Cynodictis ("slender dog marten") is an extinct amphicyonid carnivoran which inhabited Eurasia from the Late Eocene subepoch to the Early Oligocene subepoch living from 37.2 to 28.4 million years ago, existing for approximately .
Hyrachyus
Hyrachyus (from Hyrax and "pig") is an extinct genus of perissodactyl mammal that lived in Eocene Europe, North America, and Asia. Its remains have also been found in Jamaica. It is closely related to Lophiodon.
Pterodon
genus of extinct placental mammals
Prototherium
Prototherium is a genus of extinct sirenian related to the dugong. It is known from middle (Bartonian) and upper Eocene deposits in Italy and Spain. Type species is P. veronenses (Zigno, 1887)

Three species are now included in the genus, but their phylogenetic relations are not resolved and possibly one of them Prototherium intermedium Bizzotto 1983 must be excluded. In the same way, relations between Prototherium and other genus are confused and need revision. A third species was described in Spain in 2016, P.ausetanum.
Kogaionidae
Kogaionidae is a family of fossil mammals within the extinct order Multituberculata. Representatives are known from the Upper Cretaceous and the Paleocene of Europe. Having started as island endemics on Hațeg Island during the Upper Cretaceous, where they were in fact the dominant mammal group and diverged into rather unique ecological niches, they expanded across Europe in the Paleocene, where they briefly became a major component of its mammal fauna before their extinction. They are considered to be basal members of Cimolodonta.
Necromantis
Necromantis is an extinct genus of bat that lived during the Eocene. Its fossils are found in the Quercy Phosphorites Formation of France and the Djebel Chambi in Tunisia. Specimens of Necromantis are notable for their large size and specialization towards a predatory lifestyle.
Proviverridae
Proviverrinae ("before civets") is an extinct clade of placental mammals within superfamily Hyaenodontoidea in extinct order Hyaenodonta. Fossil remains of these mammals are known from early to late Eocene deposits in Europe. Their decline was thought to have been the result with of competition with carnivorans, hyaenodontines, and hyainailourines.
