Raichu (; Japanese: , Hepburn: ) is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon media franchise, and the evolved form of series mascot Pikachu. First introduced in the 1996 video games Pokémon Red and Blue, it was created by Atsuko Nishida at the request of lead designer Ken Sugimori, with the design finalized by Sugimori. Since Raichu's debut, it has appeared in multiple games including Pokémon Go and the Pokémon Trading Card Game, as well as various merchandise. Meowth (), known in Japanese as , is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon media franchise, and the first stage of its evolved form, Persian. First introduced in the video games Pokémon Red and Blue, it has received multiple new forms, including regional variants called Alolan Meowth and Galarian Meowth in Pokémon Sun and Moon and Pokémon Sword and Shield respectively. These two forms are Dark and Steel as opposed to Meowth's Normal form. Sword and Shield also introduced a giant-sized Meowth transformation that causes it to become very long.

Ninetales (), known in Japan as , is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise, and the evolved form of the Pokémon Vulpix. First introduced in the video games Pokémon Red and Blue, it was created by Atsuko Nishida in order to add more cute Pokémon to the series, and it had its design finalized by Ken Sugimori. It is unavailable in Red without trading. Since Ninetales' debut, it has appeared in multiple games including Pokémon Go and the Pokémon Trading Card Game, as well as media related to the franchise, including an episode of the TV series focusing on Ninetales.

Slowpoke (), known in Japan as , is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon media franchise. Designed by Ken Sugimori, Slowpoke is a Water and Psychic-type Pokémon that debuted in the video games Pokémon Red and Blue and appeared in subsequent mainline titles. They have alternate evolutionary lines in Slowbro and Slowking, although the latter was introduced in the later Pokémon Gold and Silver titles. Typhlosion (, ), known in Japan as , is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon media franchise, and the final evolved form of starter Pokémon Cyndaquil. First introduced in the video games Pokémon Gold and Silver, it was designed by Ken Sugimori and is featured in Pokémon Go and the Pokémon Trading Card Game, as well as various merchandise.

Voltorb (), known in Japan as , is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon media franchise. First introduced in the video games Pokémon Red and Blue, they were created by Ken Sugimori, appearing in the earliest design document for the game. Since their initial appearance they have appeared in multiple games including Pokémon GO and the Pokémon Trading Card Game, as well as various merchandise related to the franchise. While Katsuyuki Konishi has been credited for voicing the species in Japanese, no English voice actor has been attributed to or taken credit for them.

Weezing (), known in Japan as , is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. First introduced in the video games Pokémon Red and Blue, it evolves from the Pokémon Koffing, both having the Poison type. Since Weezing's debut, it has appeared in multiple games including Pokémon Go and the Pokémon Trading Card Game, as well as media related to the franchise, including as a regular character in the TV series.

Zoroark (; Japanese: , Hepburn: ) is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon media franchise. First introduced in the film Pokémon—Zoroark: Master of Illusions and later in the video games Pokémon Black and White, it was created by Atsuko Nishida with the design finalized by Sugimori. Zoroark has since appeared in multiple games including Pokémon Go and the Pokémon Trading Card Game, as well as various merchandise. In anime media related to the franchise, Zoroark is voiced by Romi Park in the movie Pokémon—Zoroark: Master of Illusions, and Ryota Iwasaki in the series.

Wooper (), known in Japan as Upah (Japanese: , Hepburn: ) is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon media franchise. First introduced in Pokémon Gold and Silver, it was conceived by Game Freak's development team, with the design finalized by Ken Sugimori. Since Wooper's debut, it has appeared in multiple sequels and games related to the series including Pokémon Go, the Pokémon Trading Card Game, and has also appeared in various pieces of merchandise.
