Lubumbashi
Lubumbashi ( , ), formerly Élisabethville (; ), is the second-largest city in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, located in the southeasternmost part of the country, near the border with Zambia. The capital and principal city of the Haut-Katanga Province, Lubumbashi is the center of mining in the region, acting as a hub for many of the country's largest mining companies. No definite population figures are available, but the population of the city's urban area is estimated to be around 2,584,000 in 2021.

Kipushi

Kipushi is a town in Haut-Katanga province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. It lies 35 km southwest of the city of Lubumbashi, very close to the border with Zambia, at an altitude of 1329 m (4363 ft). The main economic activity of the town is mining. Kipushi is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sakania–Kipushi.

Kambove is a town in the Haut-Katanga Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Sakania
Sakania is the seat of Sakania Territory in Haut-Katanga Province in the far south of the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is in the Congo Pedicle, near the border with Zambia. The town sits at the high altitude of above sea level, and accordingly has a relatively cool climate.
Between 1935 and 1939 it recorded one of the lowest temperatures in the history of the country, .

Pweto
Pweto is a town in the Haut-Katanga Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). It is the administrative center of Pweto Territory. The town was the scene of a decisive battle in December 2000 during the Second Congo War which resulted in both sides making more active efforts to achieve peace. Pweto and the surrounding region were devastated during the war. little had been done to restore infrastructure or rebuild the economy. The town is served by Pweto Airport.
