Ioannina
Ioannina (, ), often called Yannena ( ) within Greece, is the capital and largest city of the Ioannina regional unit and of Epirus, an administrative region in northwestern Greece.
Metsovo
Metsovo (; ) is a town in Epirus, in the mountains of Pindus in northern Greece, between Ioannina to the west and Meteora to the east.
Konitsa
Konitsa (, see also names in other languages) is a town of Ioannina in Epirus, Greece. It is located north of the capital Ioannina and near the Albanian border. Konitsa lies northeast of a group of villages known as the Zagorochoria. The town was built amphitheatrically-shaped on a mountain slope of the Pindos mountain range from where it overlooks the valley where the river Aoos meets the river Voidomatis.
Zagori
Zagori (; ) is a region, a municipality, and a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, in the Pindus mountains in Epirus, in northwestern Greece. The seat of the municipality is the village Asprangeloi. It has an area of some and contains 46 villages known as Zagori villages (or Zagorochoria or Zagorohoria), and is in the shape of an upturned equilateral triangle.

Zitsa () is a village and a municipality in the Ioannina regional unit, Epirus, Greece. The seat of the municipality is the village Eleousa. The municipality has an area of 565.566 km2, the municipal unit 65.868 km2, the community 29.169 km2.

Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Konitsa, of which it is a municipal unit. Before 2011, it was an independent community. The 2021 census recorded 200 residents in the village. The community of Aetomilitsa covers an area of .

Syrrako (, between 1940–2002: Σιράκο, Sirako; ) is a village and a former community in the Ioannina regional unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality North Tzoumerka, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 29.307 km2. It is located 52 km southeast of Ioannina at an altitude of 1200 m, on the mountain Peristeri. It is built on a steep slope and retains its traditional buildings.

Anatoli
Anatoli () is a town and a former municipality in the Ioannina regional unit of Epirus, Greece. It is located within the urban area of Ioannina and since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality of Ioannina, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 15.845 km2 and the community of 7.698 km2. It has a population of 12,119 according to the 2021 census. Anatoli was established in 1924 by Greek refugees from Anatolia, who were relocated there after the population exchange between Greece and Turkey.

Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Zagori, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 51.029 km2. It is one of the original Zagori villages. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Pogoni, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 56.693 km2, the community 18.830 km2. The municipal unit consists of 4 villages: Pogoniani, Dolo, Drymades, Stavroskiadi.

Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality North Tzoumerka, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 39.959 km2. The population in 2021 was 236. The community consists of the villages Kalarrytes and Mystras.
Delvinaki
Delvinaki () is a former municipality in the Ioannina regional unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform, it is part of the municipality Pogoni, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 255.8 km2, the community 54.8 km2. In 2021 its population was 538 for the village and 1,609 for the municipal unit. Delvinaki is part of the traditional area of Pogoni.
Papingo
Papingo (, also transcribed as Papigko, Papigo) is a former community (1919-2010) in the Ioannina regional unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform (the so-called Kallikratis Law) it has become part of the municipality of Zagori, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 34.131 km2. It is located in the Vikos–Aoös National Park.

Molista
Molista (, before 1928: Μεσαριά - Mesaria) is a settlement in the Ioannina regional unit in Epirus, Greece. It is situated on the northwestern slope of Smolikas, between the villages Monastiri to the southwest and Gannadio to the northeast. It is part of the municipality of Konitsa. The GR-20 (Ioannina - Konitsa - Kozani), the old road is approximately 5 km west. The village is almost uninhabited during the winter months.

Pyrsogianni
Pyrsogianni () is a village in the Ioannina regional unit, northern Greece. It is situated on a mountain slope on the right bank of the river Sarantaporos. It is in the municipal unit of Mastorochoria, and it was the seat of the former municipality Mastorochoria. The Greek National Road 20 (Ioannina - Konitsa - Kozani) passes east of the village. It is 4 km northwest of Kastaniani, 20 km northeast of Konitsa and 60 km north of Ioannina.

Tsepelovo (, ) is a village in the Zagori region (Epirus region). It stands at a height of 1,200 meters in a panoramic location on the mountain range of Tymfi. It is the biggest of the 45 villages of Zagori and it was the seat of Tymfi municipality. It lies in the middle of the Vikos–Aoös National Park, 48 km from Ioannina.
Vitsa
Vitsa (, ) is one of the largest villages of the central Zagori region, in northwestern Greece. It is situated at an altitude of 955m on a mountain slope near the Vikos gorge with roads linking it to Greek National Road 6. Vitsa is famous for its old double-arched bridge of Missios. The village is located on a hill and straddles both sides of two streams which flow in between.

Kalpaki () is a former municipality in the Ioannina regional unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it has been part of the municipality Pogoni, of which it is a municipal unit. It is situated about northwest of Ioannina, and southwest of Konitsa. The municipal unit has an area of 116.756 km2, and the community 13.189 km2. The Greek National Road 20 connects Kalpaki with Ioannina and Konitsa. The GR-22 connects Kalpaki with Kakavia, the border crossing into southern Albania.

Kastritsa (, before 1927: Μπαρκμάδι - Barkmadi) is a village in the municipal unit of Pamvotida, Ioannina regional unit in Greece. It is situated on a hillside near the southern shore of Lake Ioannina. It is situated 2 km southwest of Vasiliki, 3 km east of Katsikas and 7 km southeast of Ioannina. The A2 motorway (Alexandroupoli - Thessaloniki - Ioannina - Igoumenitsa) passes south of the village.

Vathypedo (, before 1928: Προσβάλα, Prosvala; ) is a village and a former community in the Ioannina regional unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality North Tzoumerka, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 10.127 km2. Its population was 89 in 2021. Vathypedo is located on the slopes of the Sarmanitsa hill and a flat area at a lower altitude is formed and drained by a stream called Goura, a tributary of the Arachthos.

The village is well known for its singing tradition: one of the villagers, Gakis Sontis, was recorded in 1930 by the Folklore Music Archive of Melpo Merlie.

It is situated on a hillside on the right bank of the river Drinos, at 412 m above sea level. It is 3 km from the Greek - Albanian border at Kakavia. The community consists of the villages Ktismata and Neochori. Ktismata is 7 km southwest of Delvinaki, 30 km southeast of Gjirokastër (Albania) and 47 km northwest of Ioannina. The Greek National Road 22 (Kakavia - Kalpaki) passes north of the village.
