Jbaa (Arabic: جباع; Syriac: ܓܒܐܥ; Phoenician: 𐤂𐤁𐤀𐤏), is a municipality in Lebanon located about 22 km (14 miles) from Sidon and 64 km (40 miles) from Beirut. It is part of the Nabatieh Governorate. Jbaa is situated on the great Safi Mountain, and rises over (in the town center) from the sea level and then begins to rise to in the district of "Ein-Elsataoun". The village covers over . Surrounding the village is gorgeous greenery including diverse trees, especially walnut trees that spread around most of the town houses.

Doueir
Ad-Doueir (Arabic: الدوير, ad-Duwayr), or Dweir, is a municipality of 7,500 inhabitants in Southern Lebanon near Nabatieh, and north of the Litani River. It is located directly next to the village of Ash-Sharqiyah. Although Ad-Doueir is considered a big village, it is the home of many well-known Lebanese such as former Labour minister Ali Qanso, and the late physics scientist Rammal Rammal.

It is between the villages of Houmin Al Fawqa, Arabsalim, Jbaa, Ain Bouswar, Alwayizeh, Soujod, Ain Qana. The village sits on the shoulder of Mleeta hills, with Oak forests on the surrounding mountains. Al Zahrani River spring starts in Jarjouaa known as Al Taseh spring. The demography of Jarjouh is approximately evenly divided between Christians and Muslims.

==History==
In 1875, Victor Guérin noted on his travels in the region: "I arrived at Zebdin, a village situated on a hill whose slopes are cultivated with fig trees; it contains 600 Metualis. There is a small mosque fairly well built. At the bottom of the village is a fountain surmounted by an arched arcade of antique appearance. Two neighbouring wells must also date from antiquity."

In 2014 Muslims made up 99.51% of registered voters in Zebdin. 97.21% of the voters were Shiite Muslims.
