Makeen () or Makin () is a city in the South Waziristan region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is located on the boundary of the North Waziristan district. On its west, it shares a border of 40 Km (25 mi) with Afghanistan's Barmal District and Paktika.
