Otjiwarongo
thumb|250px|right| Otjiwarongo (Herero for "beautiful place") is a city of 49,000 inhabitants in the Otjozondjupa Region of Namibia. It is the district capital of the Otjiwarongo electoral constituency and also the capital of Otjozondjupa.
Grootfontein
() is a city with 26,839 inhabitants in the Otjozondjupa Region of central Namibia. It is one of the three towns in the Otavi Triangle, situated on the B8 national road that leads from Otavi to the Caprivi Strip.
Okahandja
Okahandja is a city of 45,159 inhabitants in Otjozondjupa Region, central Namibia, and the district capital of the Okahandja electoral constituency. It is known as the Garden Town of Namibia. It is located 70 km north of Windhoek on the B1 road. It was founded around 1800, by two local groups, the Herero and the Nama.
Tsumkwe
Tsumkwe (Juǀʼhoan: Tjumǃkui) is a settlement in the Otjozondjupa Region of northeastern Namibia and the district capital of the Tsumkwe electoral constituency. It had about 500 inhabitants in 2012.
Otavi
Otavi is a town with 10,000 inhabitants in the Otjozondjupa Region of Namibia. Situated 360 km north of Windhoek, it is the district capital of the Otavi electoral constituency.
Okakarara
Okakarara is a town in Otjozondjupa Region, Namibia, located southeast of Waterberg National Park. It has an estimated population of 7,000 and is growing by 1,500 inhabitants annually.
Kombat
Kombat is a mine and its associated settlement at the southern margin of the Otavi Mountain Range in northern Namibia. It is situated East of Otavi on the B8 to Grootfontein. Kombat at its peak had over 1,000 inhabitants. it is almost abandoned, although Kombat Primary School still operates at reduced capacity, and a clinic is serving the remaining inhabitants.

Kalkfeld is a settlement in the Otjozondjupa Region of Namibia. It is situated halfway between Omaruru and Otjiwarongo on the regional road C33 and belongs to the Otjiwarongo electoral constituency.

Osire
Osire is a refugee camp in central Namibia, situated 200 km north of the capital Windhoek next to the main road C30 from Gobabis to Otjiwarongo. It was established in 1992 to accommodate refugees from Angola, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda and Somalia. The camp grew quickly in its early years, reaching a peak of 20,000 inhabitants in 1998. Since then the refugee population of Osire decreased steadily, approaching 6,500 in 2010, and 3,000 in 2014. Camp numbers rose sharply again with the Western DR Congo clashes.
Abenab
Abenab () is a settlement in the Otjozondjupa Region of central Namibia, situated north of Grootfontein. It was founded in 1921 as a mining settlement for a nearby lead, vanadium and zinc mine. The mine closed down in 1958.
