Prosciurillus is a genus of rodents in the family Sciuridae, endemic to Sulawesi and nearby small islands, Indonesia. It contains the following species: Secretive dwarf squirrel (Prosciurillus abstrusus) Alston's Sulawesi dwarf squirrel (Prosciurillus alstoni) Whitish dwarf squirrel (Prosciurillus leucomus) Celebes dwarf squirrel (Prosciurillus murinus) Sanghir squirrel (Prosciurillus rosenbergii) Roux's Sulawesi dwarf squirrel (Prosciurillus topapuensis) Weber's dwarf squirrel (Prosciurillus weberi)

Hyosciurus
Hyosciurus is a genus of rodents in the family Sciuridae endemic to Sulawesi, Indonesia. It contains the following species: Montane long-nosed squirrel (Hyosciurus heinrichi) Lowland long-nosed squirrel (Hyosciurus ileile) The genus name is a combination of Greek , , meaning 'pig', and , meaning 'squirrel', in reference to the snouts which are relatively long compared to other squirrels.
Margaretamys
Margaretamys is a genus of rodent in the family Muridae endemic to the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia. Up until 1973, it was known from only few examples of one species. Then Guy G. Musser collected more examples of this species during his stay in Sulawesi, as well as collecting two new species. And in 1981, as part of his huge project of sorting through the then very large genus Rattus, he described these as members of the new genus, Margaretamys.

Hyorhinomys stuempkei
Hyorhinomys stuempkei, the hog-nosed shrew rat or Sulawesi snouter, is a species of rodent in the family Muridae, more specifically in the subfamily Murinae, endemic to Sulawesi, Indonesia. It is the only species assigned to the genus Hyorhinomys. This species was discovered in 2015 by Jacob A. Esselstyn and his team, Anang S. Achmadi, Heru Handika, and Kevin C. Rowe. Esselstyn proposed "Sulawesi snouter" as a common name for it. The word "snouter" references the spoof biological text The Snouters: Form and Life of the Rhinogrades, authored by the German zoologist Gerolf Steiner as the fiction
