The company's bus (Nordtrafikk Buss AS) and ferry (Nordtrafikk Maritim AS) operations were sold to Veolia Transport Norge in 2006. They formerly operated bus routes in Harstad Municipality (including the airport bus to Harstad/Narvik Airport, Evenes), Lofoten, Salten, Trysil and Vesterålen and ferry transport in Lofoten and Vesterålen.

Norled operates automobile ferries and fast ferries in Rogaland, Vestland, Sunnmøre and Trondheim Fjord on contract with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, Kolumbus and Skyss. The company operates 45 car ferries, 17 fast ferries and one water bus.
