The Sopoćani Monastery (, ), an endowment of King Stefan Uroš I of Serbia, was built from 1259 to 1270, near the source of the Raška River in the region of Ras, the centre of the Serbian medieval state. It is a designated World Heritage Site, added in 1979 with Stari Ras. The monastery is located west of the town of Novi Pazar.

Gazimestan (, , ) is the name of a memorial site and monument commemorating the Battle of Kosovo (1389), situated about 6–7 kilometres southeast of the actual battlefield, known as the Kosovo field. Gazimestan is accessible from the Pristina–Mitrovica highway, on a 50-metre-high hill above the plain, ca. 5 km northwest of Pristina. Every year, on Vidovdan (St. Vitus Day), 28 June, a commemoration is held by the monument, which in later years is also covered by an image of Prince Lazar, who led the Serbian army at the Battle of Kosovo.

Sirogojno is a village in Serbia located on Mt. Zlatibor. The village of Sirogojno was declared a Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance in 1983, and it is protected by the Republic of Serbia.

Topčider (; ) is a forest park and an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is divided between the municipalities of Čukarica, Rakovica and Savski Venac. Being close to downtown, it is one of the major locations for relaxation, picnics and fresh air for the citizens of Belgrade.

thumb|200px|Tešnjar Tešnjar () is the old quarter of the city of Valjevo, in Serbia. It originated in the 19th century and was a long time trade center, located on the right bank of Kolubara. It consists of one street that follows the Kolubara river course and several smaller streets below the hill. The name is probably received after the tight streets. Tešnjar has become famous lately due to Serbian cinema. On weekends, Tešnjar serves as the youth's main place for a pub crawl since there are many bohemian-style pubs. It is declared a Cultural Heritage of Serbia.
