Cizre
Cizre () is a city in the Cizre District of Şırnak Province in Turkey. It is located on the river Tigris by the Syria–Turkey border and close to the Iraq–Turkey border. Cizre is in the historical region of Upper Mesopotamia and the cultural region of Turkish Kurdistan. The city had a population of 130,916 in 2021. It is predominantly inhabited by Kurds.

Ceylanpınar district
Ceylanpınar (, Ra's al 'Ayn, Resülayn) is a municipality and district of Şanlıurfa Province, Turkey. Its area is 1,589 km2, and its population is 90,440 (2022). On the border with Syria, it is reached by a long straight road D.905 across the plain south from Viranşehir. It forms a divided city with Ra's al-'Ayn in Syria and there is a border crossing.
Yayladağı
Yayladağı (), formerly Ordu (; ), is a municipality and district of Hatay Province, Turkey. Its area is 445 km2, and its population is 36,803 (2022). It is on the border with Syria, south of the city of Antakya.

Karkamış, formerly Carablus, is a municipality and district of Gaziantep Province, Turkey. Its area is 298 km2, and its population is 9,379 (2022). It is next to the site of ancient Carchemish.
Al-Darbasiyah
Al-Dirbasiyah (, ) is a Syrian town on the Syria–Turkey border opposite the Turkish town of Şenyurt. Administratively it is part of the Al-Hasakah Governorate. According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), al-Dirbasiyah had a population of 8,551 in the 2004 census. It is the administrative center of a nahiyah ("subdistrict") consisting of 113 localities with a combined population of 55,614 in 2004. The majority of the inhabitants of the town are Kurds while Arabs and Assyrian are a minority.

Mürşitpınar
Mürşitpınar is a neighbourhood of the municipality and district of Suruç, Şanlıurfa Province, Turkey. Its population is 713 (2022). It lies on the Syrian border, adjacent to the Syrian city Kobanî. There is a border crossing south of the village, and a (closed) station on the Berlin–Baghdad railway.
