Blattodea
Blattodea is an order of insects that contains cockroaches and termites. Collectively, Blattodea and the mantis order Mantodea are considered part of the superorder Dictyoptera. Formerly, termites were considered the separate order Isoptera, but genetic and molecular evidence suggests they evolved from within the cockroach lineage, which renders them cockroaches cladistically; the group of termites were subsumed into Blattodea and they are considered by some to be a divergent group of cockroaches. Blattodea includes approximately 4,400 species of cockroach in almost 500 genera, and about 3,000
Pyrgomorphidae
Pyrgomorphidae is a family of grasshoppers in the order Orthoptera; it is the only family in the superfamily Pyrgomorphoidea. Pyrgomorphidae are found worldwide in tropical and warm temperate regions (though none are from US mainland), but the vast majority of the family's approximately 500 species are from Africa, Asia and Australia. Their name is probably derived from pyrgos (Greek: Πύργος) meaning "tower": a reference to the form (morph) of the head in the type genus Pyrgomorpha and other genera.
Romaleidae
The Romaleidae or lubber grasshoppers are a family of grasshoppers, based on the type genus Romalea. The species in this family can be found in the Americas. It is known to be polyphagous, but there is not much else known regarding its diet. The descriptive "lubber" is nautical slang for a big and clumsy person, referring to this grasshopper's limited or nonexistent ability to fly, seemingly clumsy and narrow range of movement, and relatively large size.
Bacillidae
Bacillidae is a stick insect family in the order Phasmatodea and the suborder Verophasmatodea.

Saginae
The Saginae, commonly known as the predatory katydids or predatory bush-crickets, is a subfamily of the family Tettigoniidae (the bush-crickets or katydids). They are mostly found in Europe, west and central Asia and southern Africa.
Chlorizeina
Chlorizeina is a genus of grasshoppers in the subfamily Pyrgomorphinae.
Chortoicetes
Chortoicetes is a genus of grasshoppers in the subfamily Oedipodinae and is notable for including the Australian plague locust.
Catantopinae
The subfamily Catantopinae is a group of insects classified under family Acrididae. Genera such as Macrotona may sometimes called "spur-throated grasshoppers", but that name is also used for grasshoppers from other subfamilies, including the genus Melanoplus from the Melanoplinae.
Bacillus atticus atticus
species of insect
Phobaeticus
Phobaeticus is a genus of Asian stick insects comprising over 25 species. The genus includes some of the world's longest insects.
Diestrammena
Diestrammena is a 'camel' or 'cave-cricket' genus in the family Rhaphidophoridae. Species in the genus are native to Asia, including Japan.
Chlorizeina unicolor

Oxyinae
Oxyinae is subfamily of grasshoppers in the family Acrididae. Species are distributed throughout Africa (including Madagascar) and Australasia.

Prisopodidae
Prisopodidae is a family of stick insects belonging to the suborder Verophasmatodea and superfamily Aschiphasmatoidea, erected by Carl Brunner von Wattenwyl in 1893. Species can be found in Central and South America.
Pharnacia sumatrana
species of insect
Macrotona
Macrotona is a genus of grasshoppers in the family Acrididae and tribe Catantopini. It includes eight described species and around 35 undescribed species. They are often found in association with spinifex.

Rhytidochrotinae
Rhytidochrotinae is a subfamily of grasshoppers from the family Acrididae with 20 genera and 47 species. This group is found from southern Central America to northern South America (Costa Rica to Brazil) with most species distributed in montane forests. The highest concentration of species are found on the Pacific coast and in the West Andes of Colombia with 11 genera and 23 species registered. Many are brightly colored in reds, especially males, and most species are apterous (without wings).

Paratrigonidium
Paratrigonidium is a restored genus of Asian crickets in the tribe Trigonidiini, as originally erected by Carl Brunner von Wattenwyl 1893, but has been also placed as a subgenus in the similar type genus Trigonidium.
