Sligo
Sligo (; ; ) is a coastal seaport and the county town of County Sligo, Ireland, within the western province of Connacht. With a population of 20,608 in 2022, it is the county's largest urban centre (constituting 29.5% of the county's population) and the 24th largest in the Republic of Ireland.

Tubbercurry or Tobercurry () is the second-largest town in terms of both population and land area in County Sligo, Ireland. It lies at the foot of the Ox Mountains, on the N17 national primary road, and is south-west of Sligo town. The town is twinned with Viarmes in France. Tubbercurry achieved status as a Fairtrade town in September 2008.
Drumcliff
Drumcliff or Drumcliffe () is a village in County Sligo, Ireland. It is north of Sligo town on the N15 road on a low gravel ridge between the mountain of Ben Bulben and Drumcliff Bay. It is on the Drumcliff River, originally called the "Codnach", which drains Glencar Lake. Drumcliff is the resting place of the Irish poet W. B. Yeats. Drumcliff is in a civil parish of the same name.

Ballymote
Ballymote () is a market town in southern County Sligo, Ireland. It is around 20 km south of Sligo town in the province of Connacht, which is in the north-west of Ireland. Ballymote lies in the barony of Corran. It is a commuter town with a strong history of independent enterprises along with firm local health, school, and transport services. Ballymote is on the main Dublin to Sligo Train Line, and 10 minutes from the N4 / N17 roads. The town serves a large hinterland area in south east County Sligo.

Strandhill or occasionally Larass () is a coastal town and townland on the Coolera Peninsula in County Sligo, Ireland. , the population was 1,982, an increase of 40% from the 2006 census. The old name appears to be Ros Dragnige (see Killaspugbrone).

Easky
Easky or Easkey (; ) is a village in County Sligo, Ireland. It is on the Atlantic coast, from Sligo and from Ballina, County Mayo. The village name derives from the Irish language term for fish () and literally means "abounding in fish", due to the Easky River that lies adjacent to the village itself. Easky, as a parish, was originally called . The area is a tourist destination on account of its scenery and water sports. Easky is a designated area on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way tourist route.
Coolaney
Coolaney () is a village in County Sligo, Ireland. Coolaney sits at the foot of the Ox Mountains with the river Owen Beg running through it around which is a walk. The remains of an old mill are located along the riverside walk, and the remains of the sluices under the mill can still be clearly seen, as well as the outfalls into the nearby river. The village is 13 km south-west of Sligo town (18 km by road).
