Spinalonga
Spinalonga () is an island in the Gulf of Elounda, north-eastern Crete, in the municipality of Agios Nikolaos, Lasithi, next to the town of Plaka in the area of Kalydon.
It is near the Spinalonga peninsula ("large Spinalonga") – which often causes confusion as the same name is used for both.

Elafonisi
Elafonisi ( , "Deer Island") is an island located close to the southwestern corner of the Mediterranean island of Crete, of which it is administratively a part, in the municipality of Kissamos of the regional unit of Chania. When the weather is fine it is possible to walk to the island through the shallow water. The island is a protected nature reserve.
It is known for its pink sand beaches, created by tidal and wave-induced deposits of pigmented microorganisms living in a symbiotic relationship with native seaweed.

Gramvousa
Gramvousa, also Grampousa (, further names include Akra, Cavo Buso, Cavo Bouza, Garabusa and Grabusa), refers to two small uninhabited islands off the coast of a peninsula also known Gramvousa Peninsula (Greek: Χερσόνησος Γραμβούσας) in north-western Crete in the regional unit of Chania. The Gramvousa Peninsula forms the more westerly of the two pairs of peninsulae in northwestern Crete (the other being Rodopos Peninsula), and is the western part of Kissamos Bay.

Dionysades
The Dionysades (, also Γιανυσάδες - Gianysades) is a small, northward-trending archipelago off the north coast of the island of Crete, mid-way between the Cape Sidero lighthouse to the southeast (from which they are about distant); and Sitia to the southwest (from which they are approximately distant). Although the island group is uninhabited, it administratively falls within the Sitia municipal unit of the Lasithi Region, Crete Regional Administration. The group includes the islands of Dragonada, Gianysada, Paximadaki, and Paximada.
Elasa
Elasa () is an island that can be found northeast of Crete in the Aegean Sea, about from the palm tree forest of Vai. It is rocky and uninhabited covering . Its highest point is above sea level. Administratively it comes within the Itanos municipality in Lasithi.

Mochlos islet
Mochlos () is a small, uninhabited island in the Gulf of Mirabello in eastern Crete, and the archaeological site of an ancient Minoan settlement. There is evidence that Mochlos was not an island in Minoan times, but was attached to the mainland and acted as an eastern harbor.
Pondikonisi
Pontikonisi (, "mouse island") is an uninhabited islet off the coast of western Crete. Administratively, it is part of the municipality Kissamos, in Chania regional unit. There is a small islet close to Pontikonisi called Pontikaki ("little mouse").

The islet is in a bay between the capes of Lithino and Kefalas, at Kommos, and close to Gortyn which was the ancient capital of Crete. It is administered within Heraklion regional unit.

Daskaleia
Daskaleia (), is an uninhabited Greek islet, in the Aegean Sea, close to the northeastern coast of Crete. The small islet lies close to the island of Kyriamadi. Administratively it lies within the Itanos municipality of Lasithi.
Sideros
Sideros (), is the outermost of a chain of two island-like peninsulas forming, with Itanos promontory, Cape Sidero. They are all three the summits of submarine elevations connected by rocky surface cols on which a road has been constructed to Cape Sidero Lighthouse, the elevated facsimile chapel of Saint Isidore, and Port Joannis, a cove of (about 4 m). There are ruins of an ancient temple of Athena destroyed by a tsunami and facilities of the Kyriamadi Naval Station. Kyriamadi is the other island-like peninsula in the chain. Administratively the cape lies within the Itanos municipal unit

The islet has also been the target of naval bombardment drills, notably by the American battleship USS Iowa (BB-61) in the 1980s.

Diapori () is an island that almost touches the coast of Crete, near Geropotamos, in Rethymno regional unit. The islet is not visible on many maps but can be seen on satellite images.
Trafos
Trafos () is an islet off the southern coast of the Greek island of Crete in the Libyan sea. The islet is in a bay between the capes of Lithino and Kefalas, at Kommos, and close to Gortyn which was the ancient capital of Crete. It is administered within Heraklion regional unit. In 2000, the marine area around Trafos was established as an archaeological zone.
