Aaron Lebedeff - the Maurice Chevalier of the Yiddish stage - was one of the top song-and-dance men of the Yiddish theater. He was born in White Russia and moved to New York in 1920. Ever adorned in a straw hat and impeccably tailored clothing, the dapper Lebedeff had a youthful appearance that lasted well into his 60s. <a href="https://www.last.
