Alec Baldwin

Alexander Rae Baldwin III, known professionally as Alec Baldwin, is an American television, film, character, and stage actor. Born on April 3, 1958, in Amityville, he began his professional career in 1980. Baldwin is a member of the Democratic Party and speaks American English. He has been married to Kim Basinger and Hilaria Baldwin, and he is the father of Ireland Baldwin. His siblings include Daniel Baldwin, William Baldwin, and Stephen Baldwin.

Baldwin received his education at George Washington University, New York University Tisch School of the Arts, and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, where he studied under Geoffrey Horne, Sanford Meisner, and Wynn Handman. His acting accolades include the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy, and the Theatre World Award. He has also been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play.
