Alison Statton (born 1958 in Cardiff, Wales) is the former singer for post-punk group Young Marble Giants and indie jazz/pop combo Weekend. She recorded a number of albums during the late 80s and 90s in collaborations with Ian Devine (ex-Ludus) and former Weekend bandmate Spike. She now works as a chiropractor, though has reunited recently with Young Marble Giants for concerts in Barcelona, Paris, Vigo, Porto, Berlin, The Hay Festival and Belgium. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Alison+Statt
