Travel guide

See

The harbour is nice to visit. One can rent a boat there, or do a daytrip, or an organised excursion.

Do

The Andijkers take good care of their visitors. In this particularly beautiful place you will find two bungalow parks, a campsite and the hotel houses of the Restinn. If you come with your own (sailing) boat, you can drop anchor in the harbor with 800 berths. Cyclists will enjoy themselves in the adjacent Vooroever recreation area with its extensive network of cycling and hiking trails. And during a rainy day you can visit the Polder Museum and the Saet and Cruyt Museum for some local history. Or go hat passes at the Hats Museum.

Sleep

The Village of Andijk has one campsite, between the dyke and the IJssellake, hence the name "Camping Dijk en Meer" which means dyke and lake. On walking distance of the small harbour, there is a holiday park called "Het Grootslag"; the campsite is part of this little vacation village. Another holiday park, adjacent to the other park, is newer but has less facilities.
