(b Piazza Armerina, ? c 1560; d Palermo, c 23 Aug 1621). Italian composer. A pupil of Pietro Vinci (1582-4), he worked mainly as a freelance teacher and composer in Palermo, visiting northern Italy (probably Venice) in c 1600-03.
