L'Arize est une rivière du Sud-Ouest de la France qui coule en région Occitanie, dans les départements de l'Ariège et de la Haute-Garonne. C'est un affluent direct de la Garonne en rive droite. Elle a forgé à travers le calcaire une grotte naturelle, la grotte du Mas-d'Azil qui fit l'objet d'une occupation humaine depuis le Magdalénien.
