Ausejo is a town and municipality in the province and autonomous community of La Rioja, Spain. The municipality covers an area of and as of 2011 had a population of 1122 people.
==Geography== Ausejo sits on a hill previously used for mining and has ancient wineries. The village overlooks a wide expanse of terraced plains, to the south of the Ebro river. The highest section of the village is la Estrella, which stands at 754 meters.
