== Species and distribution == This genus contains only one recognized species, Autranella congolensis (also known as mukulungu), native to west-central Africa (Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Cabinda, and Democratic Republic of the Congo).
