Babol County (Persian: شهرستان بابل) is the most populous county in Mazandaran province and the second most populous county in northern Iran. The capital of the county is the city of Babol. Babol County consists of six districts, seven cities, and nearly 700 villages.

The elevation in the county, from the north to 10 kilometers south, is below sea level. The city of Babol is divided into two urban areas.
