Bernard Sumner (born 4 January 1956), also known as Bernard Dickin, Bernard Dicken and Bernard Albrecht is an English singer-songwriter, guitarist, keyboard player and producer. He is best known as a founding member of the bands Joy Division, New Order, Electronic (with Johnny Marr) and Bad Lieutenant. He currently fronts the third iteration of New Order.
