Calibri

Calibri is an extremely readable sans serif text typeface, with three weights, each with its accompanying italic. The font's letter forms are very traditional, like a serif typeface from centuries past; but it has no serifs, and the rounded ends of its strokes give it a comfortable, friendly feel that works well in long texts. Calibri is a general workhorse of a typeface, usable in almost any situation, from headlines to small text. Calibri was designed by type designer Lucas de Groot in 2004 and published in 2007 as one of the typefaces in the Microsoft ClearType font collection. Like the other ClearType typefaces, Calibri was aimed squarely at making reading long texts easier on a screen, although it also works well in print. Calibri became the default font in Office in 2007.
