Encyclopedic overview
Goldsmiths are metalworkers who specialize in working with gold; the distinction between these and the silversmiths (in Category:Silversmiths) is often arbitrary, as the same people often worked in both metals. Historically, many also made jewellery and practiced engraving as printmakers.
