Chad Gray (born October 16, 1971 in Decatur, Illinois, US), is the lead vocalist for American alternative nu-metal band Mudvayne and rock supergroup Hellyeah. He quit his factory job in Florida that paid $40,000 a year to move to Peoria, Illinois and form Mudvayne. Gray is well known both for his clean singing and trademark screams and growls.
