Clifford Clive Hardman Brook was an English actor most active in the 1920s to 1940s. In 1949/50 the "Towers of London" production company enlisted him to front the radio show "Secrets of Scotland Yard", a series about the detection of real-life crimes. Most episodes were about murders, but other more procedural stories were told, such as Crimes Against the Railways and tales of fraudsters. Brook was born and died in London. He was educated at Dulwich College, first appeared on stage in 1918
