== History == Collemancio, also known historically as Collemaggio, derives from the ancient Umbrian municipality of Urvinum Hortense, mentioned by Pliny the Elder. Significant ruins of the ancient settlement remain in the surrounding area, along with inscriptions and other archaeological finds discovered at various times.
