Species
Least ConcernObservations: Little is known about the longevity of these endangered species. Reports suggesting these animals live nearly 10 years were not confirmed upon close scrutiny and were probably the result of confusion with similar species. One captive specimen lived for 3.7 years (Richard Weigl 2005).
