Dave Mackintosh is the current drummer of extreme power metal band DragonForce. First heard on the band's second release, "Sonic Firestorm", Mackintosh is noted with bringing blast beats, a drumming technique often exclusively heard in Death Metal to DragonForce. He also, more notably, was the drummer for Bal-Sagoth. He is extremely capable of keeping pace at very high tempos, and is considered by many to be one of the fastest and best drummers in the world. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Dav
