Derek Roy was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on May 4th. 1983. He is a professional hockey player for the Buffalo Sabres. During his time on the Rochester Americans Roy, along with now Buffalo Sabre, Ryan Miller and two other team mates formed a band and played many shows in and around Rochester. Roy was the singer and one of the guitarists. The band has since stopped playing music, but Roy and Miller 'jam' together from time-to-time between training sessions for the Sabres. <a href="https://ww
