Drahany is a market town in Prostějov District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 500 inhabitants.
==Etymology== According to one theory, the name is derived from the personal name Drahan. According to other theory, it is derived from the old Czech word draha (i.e. 'way', 'road') and referred to a road from Brno to Prostějov that led this way.
